The collection places a remaster of the original 1984 album beside period singles, mixes, sessions and archive live material, offering a broader picture of the group’s first year on record.
Café Bleu introduced Paul Weller and Mick Talbot’s mixture of soul, jazz, pop and European styling, establishing a musical identity deliberately removed from Weller’s previous band.
