A Man of Two Worlds is Midge Ure’s first album of new material in twelve years and is divided between instrumental and vocal recordings.
Midge Ure released A Man of Two Worlds on 8 May 2026, ending a twelve-year gap between albums of newly written material.
The double album is deliberately split into two sides of his musical identity: one instrumental and atmospheric, the other centred on songs and Ure’s voice.
That structure reflects a career that has always moved between electronic experimentation, widescreen pop songwriting and soundtrack-like instrumental work.
