A newly remastered anniversary edition refreshes Book of Love’s 1986 debut with updated artwork, new notes and a new remix of Boy.
Book of Love marked the fortieth anniversary of their self-titled debut with a newly remastered edition released on 26 June 2026.
The vinyl release features refreshed artwork, new liner notes and a new remix of Boy while returning songs such as I Touch Roses to the spotlight.
The anniversary is a useful reminder of the American group’s place in 1980s synth-pop and of the devoted club audience their music built beyond the biggest mainstream chart names.
