Tears for Fears release their first official live album

Songs for a Nervous Planet captures Tears for Fears on tour and adds four newly recorded studio songs.

Tears for Fears released Songs for a Nervous Planet on 25 October 2024, presenting performances recorded during the successful tour for The Tipping Point.

The collection is the first official live album issued under the Tears for Fears name. It also opens with four new studio recordings, giving the release a clear connection to the band’s present rather than treating it only as a look back.

For long-standing listeners, the album shows how Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith’s best-known songs sit alongside their newer work in the current live set.
