Danceteria extends Marc Almond and Dave Ball’s partnership with a final Soft Cell studio album.
Soft Cell released Danceteria on 25 September 2026, presenting the record as the duo’s final studio album.
Marc Almond and Dave Ball again connect electronic club music with dramatic pop songwriting, the combination that made their early-1980s work so distinctive.
The album closes the studio catalogue on new material rather than allowing Tainted Love alone to define a partnership that continued to develop long after their original chart breakthrough.
