How to Re-Assemble an Atomic Bomb presents ten songs recovered from the sessions for U2’s 2004 album.
U2 released How to Re-Assemble an Atomic Bomb on 29 November 2024 after returning to the recording sessions for How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb.
The ten-track collection is not a conventional greatest-hits package. It gathers songs newly recovered from the original sessions, including material that had remained unfinished or unheard for two decades.
The project offers a parallel view of a major period in U2’s career and shows how much music can sit outside the final running order of a familiar album.
