The expanded Talking Heads: 77 brings together a new remaster, demos, alternate recordings and an unreleased 1977 concert.
Talking Heads: 77 returned in a Super Deluxe Edition on 8 November 2024, placing the group’s debut album inside a much wider archive of their earliest work.
Alongside a new remaster, the collection includes demos, alternate versions and a previously unreleased concert recorded at CBGB in New York during 1977.
The additional material documents a band moving quickly from the city’s new-wave scene towards the rhythmic and experimental ideas that would define their later albums.
